Token/Cecile/Trill
“Wooh, aren’t I tired!” Cecile exclaimed. The sun shone hard on them, leaving them to sweat and sweat, and gasp for breath. They stopped, to try and take a break. Panting. If you were to be there, all you could hear was panting. Token reached for the bag they had to try and find a water bottle of some kind. Oh, damn. Even the water was finished.
Cecile noticed the hoarse expression on Token’s face. He reached for the bag and took a look through it as well. Oh! Here it was! A jar covered underneath some fabrics and change of clothes. “Here, Token.” He handed it to Token, a big, proud smile equipped on his face.
Token looked up at him wit tired eyes, and almost died of pleasure when she took the jar. She removed the lid and gulped some water down, sure to leave some for the others.
Yyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!
Everyone looked at Token, who was trying to get something out of her mouth. She screamed and screamed. Cecile removed her hand and inserted his own into her mouth. Ah. How hard to be Token! “Here,” He grinned, pulling the baby lizard out of her mouth. Token spit out all the water and sobbed.
“A lizard!” Token cried––lizards were her biggest fears. “A lizard.” She sobbed again. “We should go back to the circus trains now, don’t you guys think?” She asked.
They’d gone for a walk to try and search for water. Most of the water was being used up by the animals, and lately they haven’t been by any rivers or lakes or springs––or any kinds of water sources. They found it necessary to refill their water foundation.
“Hey, do you hear that?” Cecile suddenly asked. He adjusted his crown/headphones. “Guys, do you hear it? Such a beautiful sound.” Cecile started running, following his ears. He wanted to know where this… music came from.
Token and the others followed closely. They too started hearing it, and were totally amused by it.
“Hell… what happened to your… mouth?” Cecile suddenly stopped, looking at the boy in front of him. Cecile was amused by his way of playing the pipe, but apparently… the boy’s mouth was stitched. Stitched?!
The boy frowned, unhappy at Cecile’s comment, and pointed to his collar. It had the name “Trill” stitched on it. Cecile nodded.
“Hey Trill. You play the pipe so… amazingly.” Cecile said.
Token was soon beside Cecile. “Oh my god, look at your beautiful outfit.” She exclaimed, truly amazed by the boy’s outfit. “And the way you play the pipe! Oh my god. Come with us! Please!” Token clung on to Trill for dear life.
Trill was scared of Token’s yellow eyes and green hair. He moved back a little. Gladly, he knew sign language, and he hoped for one of the guys to understand it as well. He illustrated the letters I-S-S-H-E-A-W-I-T-C-H ?
Cecile laughed. “She’s not a witch. She’s a sweet young girl who loves lizards and eats them.” He joked.
That seemed to have scared Trill. His eyes widened. Again, he used sign language. L-I-Z-A-R-D-S-A-R-E-F-O-R-W-I-T-C-H-E-S.
Wasn’t Cecile just surprised? “I was making fun of her. Her biggest fear is lizards.”
Trill smiled at that. He positioned his hand in a holding-a-pen-and-writing position. He made a questioning glance.
“Yes, we have a paper and pen. Can you write?” Cecile asked.
Trill wasn’t happy about that. He made an of-course-what-the-hell face. Cecile cleared his throat and passed him a pen and paper.
I have heard some gossip in the town while I was taking a break. Trill wrote. About the royal throne.
Cecile tensed. “Is it important?”
Such unexpected news. Trill wrote, making a weird, worried face.
Cecile looked at Token, who was tensing as well. “What is it?”
